William Shakespeare

Hello, this is Riho Miyazaki. I'd like to post about William Shakespeare. He left more than 150 sonnets and 38 plays. His work is still popular all over the world though it has passed about 400 years since he died. He wrote many kinds of works; histories, comedies, and tragedy. All of them, I like "Hamlet" the best. This is one of his tragedies. When I read this story, I was really surprised because its conclusion was unexpected. The influence of Hamlet remains today. Now, one television commercial which is based on the story of Hamlet is famous in Japan. The works of Shakespeare will keep being popular in the future.
