Gulliver's Travels

Hello. My name is Megumi Matsuura. I would like to post about Gulliver’s Travels. When I was a junior high school student, I read Gulliver’s Travels in Japanese. It is popular in many countries even now. It became movie, television and Radio. Music was also made by some composers. Moreover, recently, modern version of Gulliver's Travels has been showed in some countries. The story of Gulliver’s travels is composed of voyages to fantastic countries, which are Lilliput, Blefuscu, Brobdingnag, Laputa, Balnibarbi, Luggnag, Glubbdubdrib, Japan and the Country of the Houyhnhnms. They include satires and parodies, so they are interesting and thoughtful. Gulliver’s Travels is read by not only children but also adults.
