Hello. My name is Manami Akazawa. i would like to post about the story of the Canterbury . The Canterbury tales were written by Chaucer. He is not author but politician, diplomat and so on, however he is well known as author because he wrote about 500 works. Most famous work is this tale. This is formed as a collection of short story because of content of story. In this story, some character were involved, for example, cook, nun, lawyer and so on. Chaucer encountered them when he went on a pilgrimage. He could heard their interesting stories while traveling with them. This is the simple history of Canterbury.
