Hello. My name is Wakana Inoue. I would like to post about Gulliver’s Travels. Before I read this story in this class, I did not know the details, so I thought this story is just a comedy. However this story described differences between religions, ancients vs. moderns, European government and the nature of man. My favorite story is a voyage to Brobdingnag. This story explained the problem of the then Britain, and Swift criticized policy which had been enforced in Britain. I enjoyed reading this book, but the book we used in this class does not include a voyage to Laputa, so I want to read this part of story. Thank you.
