Shakespeare

Hello. My name is Asami Sugiyama. I would like to post about the Julius Caesar by Shakespeare. This is kind of tragedy. Julius Caesar is known by everyone. Of course, I’ve known him since I learned him at high school. This is Roman plays, and based on true events from Roman history. The title is “Julius Caesar”, but he is not main character in this story. He appears in only three scenes, and he is killed at the beginning of the third act. The main character is Marcus Brutus. He is one of the death squad. Then, Caesar said the famous phrase, “Et tu, Brute?” This means “And you, Brutus?” Here is the video clip of this scene. Please check it. Thank you.
