I have everread or heard sometimes this story when I was child. I knew only about the first topic. At this time, I read other important topic like Brobdingnag and laputa. I could understand the all of story aboutGulliver's Travel and enjoied reading it. And I have never known that tis story contains the topic of Japan. I think that this might be the reason that Gulliver's Travel is famous in Japan. This story has many interesting contents and characters that make us exciting. we will not be able to feel this moving in our world.
