Hello. My name is Nanako Yamashita. I would like to post about Shakespeare. I have known him as a playwright of the four large tragedies and some comedies, so I was surprised that he is also well known as a poet. This time, I want to introduce one of his comedies, “A Midsummer Night's Dream”. It was written in 1594. There are lovers whose father is against, lover’s friends, six workmen for a marriage, and two fairies in forest, but the relationship of characters changes because of love potion from fairies’ quarrel. It is fun! Now I found the animation with English subtitles. Enjoy it!
