Hello. My name is Naoko Kobayashi. I would like to post about Gulliver’s Travel. Gulliver’s Travel is very different from my image I have had. At first I thought that Gulliver’s travel is the book which only children enjoy, but the book contains many things. I was surprised at the story because it tells us some topics; politics, philosophy of science and mathematics, nature of man, right of the unfortunates. The story of chpter4 says that foolishness reflect human, and I was shocked to understand that. I didn’t know that Gulliver’s Travel includes that moral. I was also amazed at Jonathan Swift because he idealized the role of U.K. and British navy. It is great experience for me to read Gulliver’s Travel. Thank you.
